The Bloomingdale Civic Association is always looking for neighbors to take an active role in our activities.
The biennial Bloomingdale House Tour provides funding for college scholarships given by the Bloomingdale Civic Association, neighborhood beautification efforts, and other community enhancement efforts.

Here are the design workshops for this Saturday’s House Tour:
11:00am- History of Bloomingdale’s Architecture Town Houses Then and Now: Multi- media lecture presented by Ahmet Kilic, AIA, LEED.
12:00pm- Bloomingdale-Envisioning Our Greatest Potential Through Urban Design
presented by M. Jennifer Harty, AIA, LEED.
1:00pm- How to Use Color, Pattern and Light presented by Zach Sherif, a DC based internationally renowned lighting and interior designer.
1:00pm- Landscaping in Small Spaces presented by Molly Scott, Registered Landscape
Architect, MD/VA. Principal/Owner at Molly Scott Exteriors, LLC.
2:00pm- Cool Spaces-Hot Wallcoverings presented by Tynesia Hand-Smith, the principal designer for Design 36ixty Interiors.
2:00pm- Container Gardening at its Best presented by Molly Scott, Registered Landscape Architect, MD/VA.
